Building on the success of the French-Israeli model, the Germany-Israel Strategic Forum was launched in 2013. To date, the FSD has been organizing the annual event in partnership with the Federal Academy for Security Policy (BAKS), the security policy training institution of the German federal government, and European Leadership Network (ELNET), with the endorsement of the German Ministry of Defence.
In 2019, we added a new partner, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), a major German political party foundation, closely associated with the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU), while in 2020, we partnered with the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSS), a German political party foundation, closely associated with the Christian Social Union (CSU).
