In 2020, the FSD added a new pan-European Strategic Dialogue with Israel in partnership with European Leadership Network (ELNET), involving participants from across Europe (France, Germany, the UK, Poland, Spain, Italy and others), as well as from the EU and NATO. This track provides an excellent tool to discuss the most burning topics through a frank exchange, and to inject insights into the different European viewpoints and the official Israeli-European deliberations as a whole.
We also organized the first Europe-Israel Strategic Dialogue on China, a new dialogue format designed to generate an ongoing China policy discussion between Europe and Israel, in partnership with SIGNAL – Sino-Israel Global Network & Academic Leadership and European Leadership Network (ELNET). The insightful dialogue proved an effective platform for discussion, bringing together Israelis and Europeans in a bid to learn from each other, exchange notes and encourage the development of much-needed expertise on China.
