Initiated in 2010 as a first of its kind, the unique France-Israel Strategic Dialogue has taken place annually and has become a major event on the French-Israeli foreign policy calendar. To date, the FSD has been organizing this event in partnership with the Foundation for Strategic Research (FRS), European Leadership Network (ELNET) and the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), with the endorsement of the Directorate General for International Relations and Strategy (DGRIS), the French Ministry of Defence.
In 2015, the FSD also launched a “Mini Strategic Dialogue” with the DGRIS. This new format allows an additional and even more in-depth and intimate exchange between French and Israeli officials and experts beyond the annual dialogue, thus further enhancing the bilateral relations.

ELNET and the FSD, in partnership with the French Ministry of Defense, held the fourth “Mini Strategic Dialogue” between France and Israel on developments in Syria.
